Our Mission



Throughout the world, Operation Smile volunteers repair childhood facial deformities while building public and private partnerships that advocate for sustainable healthcare systems for children and families. Together, we create smiles, change lives, heal humanity.

About Us



Operation Smile Panama is known throughout the country, courtesy of a free year-round public awareness campaign. Every day, an advertisement about Operation Smile Panama’s mission is placed in newspapers. Posters and advertisements are seen at malls, bus stops, hospitals and health centers throughout the country. Operation Smile Panama also publishes a bi-annual newsletter that is distributed to 500 volunteers and donors. This year, medical volunteers elected a representative from each medical specialty to sit on the Operation Smile Panama medical council. The council ensures the safety standards, protocols, and guidelines for its medical missions.
